Schnepf Farms: Pumpkin and Chili Party [Queen Creek, AZ]

Voted one of the best fall festivals in the Valley, Schnepf Farms is back again and hosting its annual Pumpkin and Chili Party. From spinning teacups (new!) to pig races, you’ll never want to leave Schnepf Farms. Your visit truly wouldn’t be complete without trying some world-class chili or succotash. Desert Ridge Marketplace's 2nd Annual Pumpkin Patch [Paradise Valley, AZ]

From Oct. 19 through 30, experience fall festival fun at Desert Ridge Marketplace for their 2nd Annual Pumpkin Patch. Guests can sip on free cider while kiddos pick from a wide selection of pumpkins to bring home. Face painting is free on specially selected dates, and on the Oct. 19, the fun continues with a Creepy Candy Crawl from 4 to 6 p.m. The patch is open from 4 to 8 p.m. on weekdays, times vary on the weekends. Vertuccio Farms: Fall Festival [Mesa, AZ]

It’s pumpkin picking season at Vertuccio Farms from Sept. 30 to Nov. 3. This Fall Festival is known for its 5-acre corn maze and mini zip line for the kiddos. The activity list is lengthy so you’ll want to start early. Fall Festival opens at 9 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Closing times differ depending on the date. Tickets are $10 per person, and free for children under the age of 2. 

The Pumpkin Patch Train [Williams, AZ]

All aboard! If you’re looking for a unique seasonal experience, take a ride on The Pumpkin Patch Train. Attendees can dress up in their Halloween costumes and enjoy a magical train ride through the Arizona countryside. The train takes guests to a hidden pumpkin patch to pick from, and then decorate your pumpkin of choice back at the Williams Depot. This special outing only occurs eight times throughout October.
