Jazz aficionados will enjoy this concert led by local jazz saxophonist and vocalist Julianne Colwell. Hear some of Colwell’s favorite jazz standards, original pieces and favorites from genres spanning Neo-soul and R&B performed by some of the Valley’s best musicians. Admission is free, and the concert will last from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The Whole Story: Part X at the Phoenix Art Museum

Since 2017, the Phoenix Art Museum has played host to The Whole Story, a live story-telling event that celebrates the human experience through the black perspective. Featured storytellers begin at 7:30 p.m., and advance purchase is recommended at a cost of $12.

The trio plays renditions of classics from Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash and more. Head to the shopping center’s District Stage from 7 to 10 p.m. and get ready to sing along.
