Grammy award-winning and controversial hip-hop icon Lil Wayne accounced that he will perform at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix on Monday, Spetember 2 at 7 p.m.

Proceeds of the concert will benefit the Charter Fund, a charitable fund of the Arizona Community Foundation. The Charter Fund provides grants to Arizona charities that offer after-school programs to youth. The Arizona Community Foundation prides itself on its network  over 1,200 of Arizona's most effective charities and non-profits.

Tickets are $50 and went on sale Saturday, August 17. They are available through the Celebrity Theatre website.
