22nd Annual Walk to Save Animals Moves Online to End Animal Homelessness
Arizona Animal Welfare League’s Largest Yearly Fundraiser
Steps Forward in Virtual Format Nov. 7

Pace for pups! Footsteps for felines! Cruise for critters! Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL), Arizona’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter, will present the 22nd annual Walk to Save Animals on Saturday, November 7. Taking place in a virtual format amid the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020’s Walk to Save Animals will still include all of the fun of walking with friends, family, and coworkers, plus visiting local vendors at the virtual marketplace. Walkers can participate from anywhere at any time on Saturday, November 7. AAWL Will be featuring a live video social media kick-off, digital events throughout the day, virtual alumni parade, and more to celebrate the efforts of the community to help end pet homelessness.

The Walk to Save Animals is AAWL’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing together a community of people and dogs to raise funds for the thousands of homeless and medically in-need animals the shelter rescues across Arizona. By registering to participate as an individual or team, you are helping end animal homelessness. Funds raised at the event help AAWL save more than 4,000 animals at risk of euthanasia, provide medical care for sick or injured animals, deliver behavior training to dogs in need, and so much more.

Sign up now to receive $10 off registration before September 30. Prices increase on October 1. All walkers receive a FREE Walk to Save Animals T-shirt. Additional prizes are available for select fundraising goals.

Walkers can document their journey on social media with the hashtag #WalkToSaveAnimals and #ThisIsHowIWalk
