At 12 years young, Roxy Heart never imagined she would find herself in a shelter environment. Earlier this month, the gorgeous German Shepherd ended up in the care of the Arizona Humane Society due to her previous family no longer being able to care for her due to a member of the household developing allergies.

Three-Legged Pittie Looking for her Forever Home

Last year, more than 17,000 pets were brought in through the Arizona Humane Society’s Field Team, which consists of Emergency Animal Medical Technicians and Cruelty Investigators. One of those dear pets was sweet Carmen, a four-year-old American pit bull terrier who was rescued from cruelty earlier this month.
