Phoenix Hospital Announces Renovation and Donation

The John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital will soon be undergoing interior construction, thanks to a $4 million donation from the Lincoln family children.

David and Joan Lincoln and Lillian Lincoln Howell are helping to renovate the hospital's dining, lobby, and service areas, as well as building expansions. The renovations will exemplify the awards for excellence achieved by the Lincoln network and better serve their patients and visitors.

AFM Tête à Tête: Nancy G. Brinker

After a three-year battle with breast cancer, Susan G. Komen lost her life to the disease in 1980. Two years later, her sister, Nancy G. Brinker, founded Susan G. Komen for the Cure in honor of her beloved sibling. Since then, the organization has raised more than $2 billion in scientific research and community outreach projects to help in finding the cure to the most common women’s cancer (one that Brinker is a survivor of herself) as well as put the spotlight on this once little-discussed cancer.
