Hotel E

With more than 400 wineries open to the public, Santa Rosa has long been a favorite destination for those with a passion for sipping and swirling. In recent years, though, the Northern California paradise has become a hot spot for craft beer buffs, families with kiddos of all ages, foodies who are craving something new, outdoor adventurers—just about every of type of visitor.

With so much interest in the area comes fabulous new spots to stay. In fact, there are now more hotel rooms in the area than there were prior to its devastating 2017 fire. One such new open is Hotel E, a luxury boutique hotel that looks as if it was crafted by Chip and Joanna. Already home to beautiful arched windows that fill the space with light, local artwork and farmhouse-chic accommodations, pet-friendly Hotel E is currently renovating a neighboring building to allow more rooms and suites, a rooftop lounge, a fitness center and a beautiful courtyard.

Flamingo Resort & Spa

For those loving a blast from the past, the retro-cool Flamingo Resort & Spa opened in 1957, a time when Hollywood darlings like Jayne Mansfield could be found sunning by the massive pool. Now a historic landmark, people flock to the Flamingo to see its massive neon-pink sign, indulge in its divine Sunday Champagne brunch buffet and, like Mansfield, soak up the rays poolside with a Pink Flamingo margarita in hand.
