Students at Arizona State University are enjoying the great weather, and showing off their wardrobe while they’re at it. While some states are spending their February bundled up in a coat and scarf, Arizona residents can already flaunt their spring and summer wardrobe. Some students I’ve talked to say that they like mixing their winter and spring wardrobe to create their own unique outfits. The fashion choices in Arizona are very different and distinctive during the winter time as students are free to mix pieces in their closet from different seasons and dress to impress.

While walking around campus, it's very easy to notice the unique outfits the students are dressed in. The 70 degree weather gives Arizona State University students the freedom to express themselves and show off their personal style. Some choose to mix a floral print dress with leather boots, while others layer and add scarves and jackets to their outfits. Here in Arizona, we have the luxury of being able to wear light and loose clothing during the winter months, and even incorporate our winter accessories into our daily ensemble. Boots are very popular of course, and students can be seen wearing a pair of Steve Madden boots and a light blouse for example. One of my favorite fashion choices includes mixing a bright colored skirt, with a plain or striped top. Students are free to express themselves and dress in style, mixing and matching to create unique outfits.

When it comes to favorite shopping spots, students find some unique places to get their clothing. A student favorite is Forever 21, as it provides chic and affordable clothing that is perfect for school or a night out. H&M is also a favored place to shop among students, as it also provides fashionable and unique clothing. Fashionistas around campus also add pieces to their wardrobe from flea markets and Ebay. What better way to have a unique outfit than to add a vintage piece to it? It’s truly interesting to talk to students and find out where they shop, and what inspires their daily fashion choices.
