While walking through the Arizona State University campus, the unique and trendy fashion choices of the students are prominent. The distinctive style of each student is attention grabbing, and In My Shoes loves to catch up with some of the most fashionable individuals on campus, and find out what exactly motivates their style. Corie Cisco, an Arizona State University student majoring in English with an emphasis on literature, talked to us about her personal style.

Where are you from?

I am from Atlanta, Georgia. My family and I made our move over to Phoenix, Arizona in 1998, so I have been here for quite some time.

Who or what inspires your style?

I don't think a specific person inspires my style per say, more like colors and patterns attract me to something. Anything interesting, and intricate I will usually lean towards. The beauty of thrift stores is the old fashions that come up, which is what I look for.

Do any celebrities inspire the way you dress?

I really admire women who rock the masculine style, with a super feminine edge. Many celebrities pull of this look, and to those who do I admire.

Where do you usually shop?

Honestly, I used to shop at Urban Outfitters, H & M, Forever 21 and the occasional thrift store. But with my funds being far more tight than they used to be, I do a majority of my shopping at local Good Will's and Savers. I have some amazing finds.

What brands or designers do you like to wear?

Like I previously said, no certain designer steers my attention. It truly comes down to if I like it or not, doesn't necessarily matter who makes it.

Can you use one word to describe your personal style?

I would say I like to embrace all decades, so the word I will use is eclectic. This purely meaning I derive my inspiration from a various amount of sources.

What is the craziest or most unique outfit you have ever worn?

Recently I have grown a strong like towards female suits. I deck myself out in a fitted blazer, black fitted slacks, formal white shirt, bow tie and dress shoes. Not saying this is crazy, but it is certainly my favorite.
