One of the greatest minds of fashion, Imran Amed of Business of Fashion (a news producing machine that offers its readers no-fluff content for fashion-minded intellectuals) had recently partnered with Bill Amberg to create a bag, The Calgary Bag.
“It’s hard to find a good bag that does what you want, but looks good,” said Imran. This notion conceived the foundation for the design of the tote- very wearable, functional and it is an item of longevity for both wear and trend.
With a price tag of £950 ($1,536) the bag is a bit of splurge, but it’s worth it. “Good design solves problems,” Imran said to Crane.tv regarding his bag, and I agree. The tote is well designed and reframes from being an amputee of style, like many work-inspired bags do. The tote is sleek and modern (my favorite is the bag in black pony skin leather with brown woven straps and brass fastenings).
