HomeFabulosity by Corbin Chamberlin › The Current Event at Neiman Marcus

With the first tingle of fall, us Arizona folk eagerly devour our closets for our autumn clothing. With a zest for cashmere and a plethora of fall trends that are being offered, being overwhelmed is unavoidable. Neiman Marcus makes it easy for its customers. Like a heat seeking fashion missile, the Neiman Marcus buyers bring the best of the season to the stores. The time to do your fall shopping is during “The Current Event” Sept. 24-26 at Neiman Marcus, where the hottest fall contemporary collections will be available.

Since its always about the swag, when you spend $350 or more in contemporary sportswear or dress collections you receive an insanely gorgeous bag from Joie (seen in the above image). Kick off your shopping spree on the eve of “The Current Event”. On Thursday, Sept. 23 from 5-7 p.m., your favorite magazine, Arizona Foothills, will be hosting a fabulous soiree. With an in-store photo shoot with clothes selected by me and makeup artists providing touch-ups, the evening will surely be splendid. While you nosh on provided food and drinks, our photographers will snap photos of you for new Facebook and Twitter images. Click here for more event info!

This fall, fashion is looking grownup and more elegant than ever. Here are a few of my favorite fall fashions at Neiman Marcus.

Everyone should have an article of camel this fall. Being that we are in Arizona and the temperature hardly falls to a point where camel hair is needed, Camel colored clothing is more sensible. Knock out two fall trends in one with this hooded cowl cashmere tabard in camel from Autumn Cashmere.

Few things are as chic as a perfectly fitting leather jacket. I am obsessed with this super modern leather blazer from Adora Leadora. The fit is impeccable and the strong shoulders will do justice to most figures. Besides being so easy to wear, you will have this piece today and love it forever.

I am undoubtedly a sparkle addict and I think everyone should have a little of it this fall. This dark blue sequins dress from Cara is absolutely perfect. Adding just enough sequins to your wardrobe will lift the overall outfit, making it more fun and chic.

Feathers; not for the fashion faint of heart. For those who are willing to take risk and wear plumage, it will totally be worth it. The unique material offers a chic texture that will add a little edge to your look. By no means am I telling you to run out and buy a feather boa. Elizabeth and James provides this divine blazer that has just enough feathers.
