Congrats to Refresh Glass! The Tempe-based company, that uses wine bottles from landfills and turns them into functional art, announced plans for a major expansion. The company will triple in size in the next 12 months after a recent infusion of funding from MAC6, a local conscious capitalism incubator. One of the company's first upgrades is a move to a new 38,000-sq.-ft. Tempe co-op manufacturing facility, where it will occupy 6,000-sq.-ft. of the mixed-use commercial space. Another change, the company plans to expand from seven employees to 20 within a year.

The company was founded in 2008, when it operated out of founder Ray DelMuro's garage. Today, it sells it artist glassware, candles, light fixtures and other items s through major retailers like Dillard's and Amazon. Refresh Glass also boasts hospitality clients (like Wolfgang Puck and Four Seasons) for use in hotels and restaurants.
