EXTRA EXTRA!

Best of Our Valley 2013 is in full-swing and AZFoothills.com has news to report! As usual, our People categories seem to be the most heated. Let's check in on a few hot ones, shall we?

* Johnjay Van Es, who pounded the voting in 2011 to receive the most votes and first-ever Best Of Our Valley winner's shoot and cover, seems to be missing in this year's competition. We at Arizona Foothills Magazine hope he's safe and sound. Bret Michaels has pulled out all the stops and currently has more than 80% of votes in his category - Top Celebrity Twitter. Pick your fave celeb Twitter handle here.

* Chef Eddie Matney has won the "Most Influential in the Valley in Food" now three years in a row. Will he take the cake again in our 2013 issue? This year he's fallen behind, with Aaron May, Owner of Praying Monk, Over Easy, The Lodge and Renegade Tap & Kitchen and Craig DeMarco, Upward Projects (Postino, Federal Pizza, Windsor, Churn) neck-and-neck for the title. Vote for your favorite Valley restauranteur here.
