Recovery doesn’t have to mean giving up fun. SoberFestPHX is bringing the Valley’s recovery community together for a free, substance-free family festival celebrating sobriety, music, connection and second chances.

Taking place Saturday, October 10, from Noon to 6 p.m. in the Metrocenter area, SoberFestPHX will feature live music and artist cyphers, games, prizes, giveaways, food trucks and family-friendly activities. The event will also bring together local recovery organizations, peer support groups and advocacy organizations, giving people an opportunity to connect with support while celebrating the lives they’re building in recovery.

Crossroads, which has provided addiction treatment and recovery services in Arizona for more than 50 years, is sponsoring the event and will be on hand to connect people with resources and help raise awareness that recovery support is available.

Organizers say the goal is to show that a sober lifestyle can include music, friendship, family and community. The event is free and open to anyone, whether they are in recovery, supporting a loved one or simply looking for a substance-free way to spend the day.
