Desert Stages Theatre (DST) announces the opening night of “Death of a Salesman” on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Desert Stages mainstage. For tickets, please visit DesertStages.org.

“Death of a Salesman” will be a family-friendly adaptation of the 1949 Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning play. The story focuses on aging and unsuccessful salesman, Willy Loman, and the ending days of his life. Throughout the play, it is revealed that Loman’s strive to obtain the “American dream” deprived him of his family and business partners. The show will be directed by Virginia Olivieri who directed the critically acclaimed “Glengarry Glen Ross” and “Agatha Christie’s Verdict.”

Performances of “Death of a Salesman” will begin on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m., and end on Sunday, April 14. “Death of a Salesman” will play Fridays and Saturdays, at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. An additional performance will be shown on Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. For more information about performance dates and times please visit DesertStages.org.
