Satisfy your craving for the new and unexpected at New Moves. Ballet Arizona kicks off the season with an evening of daring works by Ib Andersen, Justin Peck, and more.
Featuring Rio, Choreographed by Ib Andersen with Music from Philip Glass. Rio explores the movement and vivacity found in Brazilian culture. Inspired by samba, this playful ballet recalls the joy of the country of Brazil.
In Creases, Choreographed by Justin Peck, Resident Choreographer of New York City Ballet. This Arizona Premiere is Choreographed by 2018 Tony Award-Winner and one of the most sought-after choreographers today, this ballet is compact, intense, and lightning fast. With music by Philip Glass, this Arizona premiere will be the highlight of the fall dance season.
