Tell Me Your Truth is based on the book of the same name. The book is a collection of poems by author Esther Zufelt. The goal of the book is to help individuals who have been victims of sexual abuse. The contents are stories from women around the world whose experiences have been left unspoken.
The purpose of the play is to bring those stories to life. Its to bring flesh and bone to experiences of these women in a way that motivates the audience to speak up. We can eradicate sexual abuse, if we are willing to speak up. To live with the memory of such acts is difficult. However, we want to let women know they are not alone in their suffering. We want to give them a voice and lift the stigma placed on them.
So join us for this special event and know that you are supporting the voices of women around the world. Women whose voices would not otherwise be heard.
