Grimaldi's in Old Town Scottsdale will host its annual Backyard Bash this Sunday, Feb. 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fun-filled event will include games, prizes, Radio Disney AM 1580, a bounce house, photobooth, special guests and more. The pizzeria is celebrating 10 years of serving the Valley and asks for a $3 donation per attendee to go to Phoenix Children's Hospital. For more information, click here.
Drive-Thru Salad Concept to Open
Would you like, er, croutons with that? Aiming to change the face of traditional (and typically unhealthy) fast food, Salad and Go is scheduled to open in Gilbert Feb. 28 at 743 N. Gilbert Road. Salad and Go is a gourmet salad drive-thru concept that offers healthy eats for the entire family. All salads come in one, large entrée-size portion at a $5.50 price point. Salads include classic Caesar, Asian style, Louie, Greek, spinach & smoked bacon, Santa Fe, BBQ ranch, cobb, seasonal mixed greens and caprese.
