The new exhibition has literally transformed the museum galleries, evoking the spirit of the vibrant streets with engaging murals, and music and more! The artwork was created on the gallery walls and on props by well known street artists including Lalo Cota, Angel Diaz, JB Snyder, Thomas “Breeze” Marcus, Such Styles, Champ Styles and Palo Luna just to name a few. There is also a wonderful slideshow of over 300 street art scenes captured throughout the valley by local photographer, Niba DelCastillo. This special exhibition was curated by the recently appointed SMoCA Interim Director and Curator, Dr. Sara Cochran.
