Mesa has become an incredible hub for local and national art boasting great museums, monthly artwalk and murals.

Charity Hall

Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is an incredible facility that offers brilliant exhibitions throughout the year, highlighting many of Arizona great local artists! There are several great exhibitions including Charity Hall and her eclectic biologically inspired enamels with an emphasis on entomological imagery are on view through March 1st. Arrangement for a Silent Orchestra features a painting and video installation of the symbolic ruin of the violin by Julie Comnick on view through March 22nd. Chamber Music: A mostly silent installation by Diane Gilbert on view through April 26th.

Beaded, Not Broken from artist Brenda Brousseau inspired by traditional Native American beadwork on view through April 12th. 36th Annual Contemporary Crafts, a national juried exhibition highlighting contemporary crafts on view through April 5th. Also be sure to pick up a cn incredible Sixth Annual Original Print Calendar for 2015 featuring 27 local artists showcasing a variety of prints on sale through February 21st.

The Museum will be hosting an opening reception on Friday February 13 7-10pm premiering several new exhibitions with artists in attendance, music, plus light refreshments and a cash bar. Jake Early Influx

Influx just kicked of Cycle 5 and Mesa is featuring the work of local Tempe artist, Jake Early who is an illustrator and graphic designer. He has created vibrant and engaging large serigraph prints, or screen prints that are sprinkled throughout downtown Mesa. His art work is on display through October 2015 at OneOhOne Gallery, 12 West, Asylum Records, Desert Eagle Brewing Company, History by George, Justice Trax, Le Studio, LoFi Coffee, Lulubell Toy Bodega, Mesa Arts Center, Milano Music Center, Nebula Vaping Lounge, Zeb Pearce and Sons Companies, Queen’s Pizzeria and Tre Bella. Museum currently featuring “JEEPERS CREEPERS: BUGS In Art” billed as a celebration of Insects for kids and adults that focuses artistic bugs that are inspirational and informative. There are over 40 artworks made of all types of materials including video, watercolor, mixed-media and fabric artworks created by 10 artists several including Edgar Cardenas, Eric Carle, Desi Costanza, Denise Currier, Joan Danziger, Wesley Fleming, Joel Floyd, Elaine Hultgren, Tara Jaggi, Barrett Klein, Mindy Lighthipe, Monica Aissa Martinez, Karen Paust, Jeanie Pratt, Andrea V.
