MoW 1Time to check out MoW, The Museum of Walking, which was founded in early 2014 by two Local artists Angela Ellsworth and Steven J. Yazzie. According to the museum’s mission “MoW is an educational resource center committed to the advancement of walking as an art practice. MoW houses a small-but-mighty archive and library comprised of walking related material engaging disciplines of art, science, philosophy, health, activism, and cartography. Through workshops, exhibitions, guest speakers, and site-specific projects MoW fosters relationships between people, land, action and site.”

Scottsdale Public Art has partnered with MoW and its founding members Ellsworth and Yazzie in what they refer to as “an ongoing creative residency, Angela and Steven are activating the Livery Studio Space currently being managed by Scottsdale Public Art as a satellite site for the museum. The Livery Studio Space located at 3802 N. Brown Avenue, Scottsdale 85251. Special upcoming event “Souvenir: Nine Artists Collaborate On Performance, Walking, And The Everyday.”on Thursday, November 20th from 7-9pm its time to find out “What gives a memory value?” “What will you walk away with?” Come and explore the notion of a souvenir in Old Town Scottsdale during the Artwalk accompanying 9 artists in their collaborative quest. This event is part of Angela Ellsworth and Steven J. Yazzie's residency, Museum of Walking, and is also sponsored by Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University and the Museum of Walking. The Museum of Walking, is located in the Tower Center Suite 206, on the Arizona State University Campus at 123 E. University Dr.,
