Its that time of year here in the valley where we can enjoy a nice afternoon outside again! Are you looking for something fun to do this Sunday? Do you love the arts? Then head over to “Sunday@Shemer” an art festival and fundraising event .
This one day only event will showcase 40 fine art booths with an incredible variety of wonderful artwork including wood, ceramic, jewelry, glass, book art, paintings, prints, fiber, photography, furniture, apparel, and more! The local artists featured include Alexandra Bowers, Doni Suggs, Thomas McKee, Robert McLeod, Michelle Rodeman, Ryan Carey, Karen Holloway, Nancy Havorkos, Jean Harney, Susan Hearn, Sarah Greene, Freddie Liebermann, Christine Sandifur, Sue Hunter, Marilyn Cohn, Karen Onken, Kay Cummins, Ann Orlando, Lori Brown, Brian Czaja, Kathy Zimmerman, Rebecca Profeta Rush, Sandy Blain, Bette Publicker, Ed Morabito, Andrea Merican, Linda Taylor, Wahid Nahle, Jules Gissler, Sandra Luehrsen, Michelle Starzman, Elliott Everson, Don Ridley, John Erwin, Beth Benowich, Deborah Foedish, Barbara Baskerville, Roger Bedard, Shari Keith, Julius Forzano, Virginia Cornell, and John Tzelepis.
There will be great food available from several Arizona food trucks, check out several local arts organizations, and enjoy performances from a variety of entertainers. Of course be sure to explore the artists booths with many featuring demonstrations by the artists, as well as children' art activities, and a Silent Auction. Visitors can also take a self-guided tour of the beautiful outdoor sculpture garden, featuring some of the valley’s finest sculptors.
Don’t miss “Sunday@Shemer” a wonderful art festival taking place this Sunday, November 2nd from 10am until to 5pm. The day includes a Silent Auction from 10-3:30pm. The price of admission is just $5 per adult and children under 12 are free with tickets available for purchase purchase tickets online or at event! The fun kicks off at 10am and parking is free! The Shemer Art Center is located at 5005 East Camelback Rd., Phoenix.
