Get to know talented local artist Bill Dambrova, creating stunning artwork which truly engages the senses, utilizing organic lines, a bold color palette, and a variety of materials including oil, acrylic and spray paint. The artist’s love and continual exploration of anatomy, science, nature as well as spirituality take center stage in his current body of work. Dambrova abstractly depicts "interconnection" while employing familiar images of anatomy, cells, and even masks in his witty and whimsical artworks. “My artwork is a layering of biological imagery using expressive mark making, art historical references and symbolism to tell stories based on events that I imagine are going on inside our bodies and our minds” said Dambrova. A current favorite work of the artist is a brilliant and massive painting titled “The Body Remembers What We Forgot” which overlaps imagery, lines, bright colors, and subtle masks.  Dambrova creates truly intriguing work that highlights the artist’s unique perspective on the body and mind, while exuding such energy and humor.
