HomeTucsonDining › Arizona Restaurant Week Comes to Tucson

It’s no secret to locals that Tucson is full of fabulous places to grab a bite to eat; and now, you have an opportunity to taste some of Tucson’s finest fare for a discounted price during Arizona Restaurant Week. Last year marked the first ever Arizona Restaurant Week, but the deals were only offered in the Phoenix area. Due to the great success of the 2008 event series, Arizona Restaurant Week has extended their deals to Tucson. But hurry up! The week of wining and dining is now taking place through this Saturday, Sept. 26.

In presenting Arizona as a premier national culinary destination and increasing revenue for local restaurants, Arizona Restaurant Week is one of the most anticipated foodie events of the year—and now even more so since it will include more than 30 Tucson restaurants. A perfect way to taste some of the most celebrated flavors of Tucson, Arizona Restaurant Week is great for both out-of-towners wanting to experience Tucson fare for the first time, and residents looking to branch out and try a couple new restaurants in their own town.

Bringing us the much-anticipated event is the Arizona Restaurant Association, along with sponsors like Absolut Vodka, US Foods, Coca-Cola, Fox Restaurant Concepts, Olson Communications, Many Hats Advertising and more.

Now here’s the really great news about Arizona Restaurant Week: Having started this past Saturday and lasting through this coming Saturday, each of the participating restaurants in Tucson as well as the Phoenix markets will be offering a three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu of their signature dishes for only $29 per person, or $58 per couple. If you’re worried about the available options, each restaurant will be also offering their standard menu along with the discounted choices throughout this week. While most of the participating restaurants do not include a beverage, tax and gratuity in the $29 price, Tucson eateries Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, Miguel’s at La Posada and Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar are the select few offering a beverage as a part of the deal.
