SculptureTucson, the non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing Arizona’s cultural landscape through the placement of sculpture in public spaces; establishing a public sculpture park; and becoming a resource for diverse artists and art collectors, is pleased to welcome the internationally recognized artist Rotraut, for an exhibition debuting Wednesday, December 1.

 

Rotraut’s first historic comprehensive show in Arizona, will be on display at SculptureTucson’s two-acre sculpture park headquartered at the Post House within Brandi Fenton Memorial Park 3420 East River Road starting December 1, 2021 through June 1, 2022.

 

“We’re thrilled to work with Rotraut to exhibit the artist’s powerful and stunning large-scale works throughout our park,” says Barbara Grygutis with SculptureTucson. “We invite the entire community and art enthusiasts from around the country to come and see the impressive and unforgettable works of art by Rotraut.”

 

Rotraut is globally recognized for creating innate, energetic works that draw on subconscious impressions of behavior and feeling. Exhibiting works around the world since 1959, Rotraut’s masterpieces have been displayed at the likes of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris to the Pascal de Sarthe Gallery in San Francisco and Art Basel in both Switzerland and the U.S. Rotraut dually resides in Paris and Phoenix, and are currently on view in Saint Tropez, France.
