To mark the end of the $860 million renovation and expansion of Caesars Palace, the Octavius tower will soon be opening after being under construction since 2008.
Caesars Palace, the world's best known resort on the Las Vegas Strip, will open the Octavius Tower on January 2, 2012, and they're already accepting reservations for opening night.
The Octavius tower holds 668 hotel rooms, 60 suites, and six villas. This tower will be more private and luxurious than anything Caesars Palace has ever offered.
These luxurious rooms start at 550 square-feet feature contemporary color schemes, top-of-the-line king-size beds and furniture and sleek dark wood and granite furniture. Along with 42-inch flat screen TV's and new appliances, an iPad/iPod friendly app will allow hotel guests to communicate and arrange room service, front desk accessibility and more. Bathrooms will feature whirlpool style bathtubs, glass showers, and double vanities with flat screen TV's as well.
With the construction of the Octavius Tower, luxury villas, an expansion of the Garden of the Gods pool and garden, the addition of a convention and meeting area, and the Forum Tower renovation. These projects were finished throughout the past few years.
Besides the glamorous, high-dollar renovation of the resort and casino, Caesars Palace is emerging once again with entertainers and shows by Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Elton John, and more.

"With very high hotel occupancy over the last six months and the unqualified success of the Augustus Tower - Octavius' sister tower - we look forward to offering our guests the new luxury rooms along with an elevated service experience in both towers."
Even more amenities are to be opened in the near future for hotel guests and Las Vegas visitors such as restaurants, lounges, and other headlining entertainment celebrities.
