One of the premier private golf clubs in North Scottsdale recently added a new member to its operational team.

Paul Skelton (pictured below) has been named General Manager of the private country club in North Scottsdale.

Skelton brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the golf and hospitality industry to The Country Club at DC Ranch, including his most recent position as Vice President/General Manager for Quintero Golf & Country Club in Peoria, AZ. While at Quintero, Skelton began a 7-year relationship with Troon Golf that, under a management contract, remains responsible for Quintero’s club operations. In 2007, Skelton was also appointed the Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Seven Canyons in Sedona, Ariz.

Skelton is also the former Vice President/General Manager of Troon Golf & Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. During his 13 years with Desert Troon, he played a role in the design, development and operation of Royal Mougin Golf Club in Mougin, France and Hassayampa Golf Club in Prescott, Ariz.

Skleton joins the club on the heels of a successful turnover of ownership of the country club from developer DMB Associates to the club’s 500-plus membership. Following the turnover, the club also reduced its membership fees to better reflect the area housing market. At the center point of the North Scottsdale community for over 10 years, The Country Club at DC Ranch is the preferred lifestyle destination for active families, couples and professionals.

Offering one of the most active social calendars, the club features a traditional golf course designed by PGA Pro Tom Lehman, an expansive tennis facility, recreational pool facilities and a 35,000 square-food Hacienda-style clubhouse.
