AAA Reveals Two New Arizona Four Diamond Resorts

Two iconic resorts in the Valley are shining brighter. The travel source, which evaluates more than 58,000 lodging properties and restaurants each year, recently bestowed The Camby, in Phoenix, and Hermosa Inn, in Paradise Valley, with its Four Diamond Award. “Attaining the Four Diamond Rating is an impressive accomplishment and point of pride for these hotels,” said Michelle Donati, communications manager for AAA Arizona. The Camby and Hermosa Inn will be honored by AAA Arizona at the 2017 Four and Five Diamond celebration in late fall.

Parks for Rec: People Packing in National Parks

The highest number of Americans in recent years are heading to national parks August 25 in recognition of the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary. According to a recent AAA survey, a whopping 85 percent of U.S. adults have visited at least one national park, and 79 percent are as likely or more likely to visit a national park in the next 12 months. Visitation to the national parks reached an all-time high in 2015, with more than 307 million visitors. The demand for national parks is off the charts this year, as the wide variety of national parks offer something for every traveler to discover.

Valley Resort Named "Premier Golf Resort"

Congrats are in order to The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park. The resort has been named to GOLF Magazine and Golf.com’s prestigious “Premier Resorts” rankings for 2016-17 – the biennial guide listing the greatest golf resort destinations in North America.
