This week: Which major CEO dressed as John Travolta? And...behind the scenes of a private Barrett Jackson Halloween and more...

You’ll never guess who these Arizona power players are! It’s CEO of US Airways Doug Parker and the company’s E.V.P. Corporate Counsel Stephen Johnson. Doug turned into John Travolta and Stephen into a Bee Gee for Halloween. They were among the group of US Airways senior officers who donned disco garb (and there was a bit of lip sinking and dancing) and visited the US Airways offices, airport, hangars, etc. in Tempe to entertain employees.

Here’s US Airways’ President Scott Kirby and E.V.P. People and Communications, Elise Eberwein entertaining as the Captain and Tenille.

By the way...When Scott isn’t in costume, it’s not unusual for him to get double takes in a crowd as he looks a bit like Lance Armstrong. Here’s a pic I snapped of Scott and his wife Pam when we had the chance to sit together at one of the Scottsdale Honor Balls.

And Congrat’s to Pam, a council member of the Paradise Valley Town Council. She just completed her 5th marathon – the Marine Marathon in Washington D.C.

On Saturday night Doug and wife Gwen Parker invited oh, about 125 neighbors over for Blimpies sub sandwiches, and dancing in the backyard of their Paradise Valley home.

Gwen dressed as Bonnie of Bonnie and Clyde for the private get-together and Doug made good use of his disco outfit again. Guests also sang happy Halloween birthday to Doug, Adam Mays and Jans Woods.

Can you guess who this trick or treating in Scottsdale?

It’s Michael Jackson. He was trick or treating with Craig Jackson and Susie Alofs and kids and friends. No-- Michael Jackson isn’t related to Craig Jackson of Scottsdale, but the King of Pop certainly knew who the KING of the CAR AUCTION is.

That’s why the pop star showed up in Scottsdale on Halloween to mingle with Craig, Susie and friends. (and also why Michael once sent his 2001 Bentley to Barrett-Jackson. It’s the famous car which ferried entertainers to Neverland Ranch.)

After trick or treating in the neighborhood, several families kicked back in Susie’s elaborately decorated backyard. She even created a comfy movie theatre ambiance using the brilliant white sofas from the Barrett- Jackson auctions.

The families made their way through the spider webs and past the scary ghost hanging from the tree showcased with bright orange lights---and watched movies on the huge 10 by 10 foot screen.

“I can’t believe you’re not showing my movie – This Is It,” quipped Michael Jackson. O.K. it was actually the Scottsdale dentist, Dr. Joseph Mazel in an elaborate costume- occasionally showing off a little moonwalk motif.

But it really was a THRILLER of a Halloween in Susie’s backyard. That’s Dr. Mazel, a dentist with his 10 year old daughter Jenna pictured above. Susie created a comfy movie theatre ambiance using the brilliant white sofas from Barrett- Jackson.

Oh and Happy, Happy Birthday Susie. Friends surprised her with a gift from custom cake designer Tammie Coe that tantalized the senses!

“It was everything this side of fabulous-- and it tasted just as delicious,” noted partygoer Betsy Hellman as she took a bite of her third piece of the cake which boasted layers of white chocolate mousse and raspberries.
