Kathy's scoop on where the TV show filmed in Phoenix .  . . 

 There are lots of rumors about this season of ABC-TV's Bachelorette. But here's a rumor that is true- the show was filming in Phoenix and there is some drama behind it. Of course,  there were lots of confidentiality agreements surrounding the filming- but what I can tell you is that bachelor Arie Luyendik, Jr. drives up in a race car and invites bachelorette Emily Maynard to take a thrilling spin with him around  Phoenix International Raceway. You can watch the breathtaking spin around the track when the episode airs on Monday, July 2nd.

 Arie's personable father is Arie Luyendik an Indy 500 winner. Emily is the first single mom to be featured on the Bacheloreete who first appeared on the 15th season of the Bachelor. Although her life story is unique, it's not the focus in her quest for love  in the Bachelorette series. She was engaged to former race car driver Ricky Hendrick who was tragically killed in an airplane crash with nine others in Virginia. Shortly after the accident, Emily discovered she was pregnant with his daughter, Josephine. 

  Because Emily is at home with the racing lifestyle, could that be good news for Arie?  There has been speculation that after the race track date things weren't so comfy cozy with Arie's father Arie, Sr. and mother Mieke. (Something about Emily not being too pleased that they were speaking their native Dutch in front of her.) Hmm. I've always known them to be fun and hospitable.   You'll have to watch on Monday. Stay tuned.
