Nearly 400 elegantly gowned ladies and tuxedo clad gentlemen gathered on the Notre Dame Prep campus for the Mothers' Guild auction. The annual event's new theme, Casino Royale, raised $80,000 for the school's operating fund. The lively evening of wagering and dining also included silent and live auctions, raffles, contests, and a sultry production of "Fever" by the fedora-clad NDP Show Choir. Lisa Mindak won the Bond Girl contest with Kevin Duermit taking honors as the best 007. Guests enjoyed "shaken, not stirred" martinis courtesy of David and Sheri Dogra of Razmataz home stores and toasted fine jeweler Oliver Smith and wife Aimee for their donation of a festive champagne fountain.
Event Chair Amy Doyle, Vice-Chair Adrienne Miller, and Mothers' Guild President Lora Drummond received warm praise for their leadership from Casino Royale committee members Sheri Dogra, Karen Ely, Charmaine Berggreen, Kandace Rising, Mary But'ierries, Debbie Hooker, Lyric Naquin, Lauren Haro, Cathie Cuda, Janie White, Mary Hartman and Pam Lannan.
