On March 28, 2026, supporters gathered at McDowell Mountain Regional Park for the 28th Annual Hike for Hope, a community event that blends outdoor recreation with purpose-driven fundraising. 265 participants spent the morning hiking the scenic Pemberton Trailhead, choosing between 1.5-mile and 4.5-mile routes while raising nearly $100,000 to support The Worker’s employment and life-skills programs. These programs guide individuals through job placement, financial literacy and savings plans designed to help them transition into stable housing. The event also featured breakfast, prizes and team fundraising challenges.
