Feb. 13, 2024. THE PARTY: VIP Opening of Barbie®: A Cultural Icon and The Power of Pink, featuring exclusive access to two new major exhibitions at Phoenix Art Museum and a *pink* party that delighted guests of all ages. THE PEOPLE: Jeremy Mikolajczak, the Sybil Harrington Director and CEO of Phoenix Art Museum; Helen Jean, the Jacquie Dorrance Curator of Fashion Design of Phoenix Art Museum; PhxArt Board of Trustees and Circles of Support donors; Arizona Costume Institute; Kelly and Steve Ellman; Jacquie Dorrance; PhxArt Director Emeritus Jim Ballinger and Linda Ballinger; Men’s Arts Council; Don and Judy Opatrny; Desert Financial Credit Union; Ann Siner; Miriam and Yefim Sukhman; Shamrock Farms. THE PINNACLE: Guests enjoyed an exclusive first-look at new exhibitions Barbie®: A Cultural Icon, featuring more than 250 vintage dolls and ephemera, and The Power of Pink, showcasing haute couture from the PhxArt Fashion Collection in every shade of pink, from fabulous fuchsia to blush. The *pink* party also featured pink sweet treats and hors d’oeuvres, custom cocktails, DJ and dancing, a 360-degree photobooth, and celebratory atmosphere.
