Jul. 2, 2023. With Sunday's win over the Massachusetts Pirates, and their 7th straight victory, the Arizona Rattlers punched their ticket for home field advantage in the upcoming IFL playoffs. Rattlers won 52-43. It was an action packed game with the Rattlers keeping a grip on the Pirates. The game was marred by a disgruntled Massachusetts player who left the field of play and climbed into the stands. As a result, three Pirates players and one coach were suspended indefinitely by the IFL. This is a family event and these kinds of player outbursts are not permitted. The Rattlers now have a bye week before facing the Northern Arizona Wranglers for the last game of the season's regular play. This game is Saturday, July 15, 6:05 pm, at the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix.
