Dec. 28, 2021. The 2021 Guaranteed Rate Bowl was held at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix though many bowl games around the country were cancelled due to the Covid virus. This 2021 bowl pit the Minnesota Golden Gophers against the West Virginia Mountaineers. Minnesota won 18-6.
