Dec. 26, 2018. Chase Field in downtown Phoenix was filled with the excitement and pageantry of college football as the TCU Horned Frogs pulled out an overtime victory over California Golden Bears 10-7 in Cheez-It Bowl. The two teams combined for six interceptions in the first half, more than any game during the 2018 season, with a total of nine for the entire game. It became the fourth bowl game in NCAA history with nine or more interceptions.
