Jan. 19, 2018. Scheduled to open in 2019, Great Wolf Lodge is set to open its 18th North American resort right here in the Valley. The resort known for its indoor water park will break ground on its construction site next to the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Friday. The Great Wolf Lodge Arizona will feature a 85,000-square-foot indoor water park, the first of its kind in Arizona. Additionally, the resort will have 27,000 square feet dedicated to a family entertainment center or Great Wolf Adventure Park.
