Picture information

Nov. 19, 2017. Nearly 250 people attended the Second Annual Arizona Wine Symposium and Grand Tasting, hosted by the Arizona Vignerons Alliance & the Farm at South Mountain. There were 150 people at each educational panel, where 13 Arizona wines were tasted and discussed with Master Sommelier and Master of Wine Doug Frost (he is one of only 4 people in the world to hold both titles). Panelists included winemakers, wine distributors, sommeliers and restaurateurs. The rosé lunch and auction, always a crowd pleaser with Todd Ventura auctioneers from Paso Robles, featured 13 types of Arizona roses paired with lunch from Santa Barbara Catering. The Grand Tasting and wine sale featured 14 AZVA certified wineries pouring over 45 100% Arizona-grown and produced wines with cheese boards from Duck and Decanter. Over 30 volunteers helped produce the event.  For details or more info on Arizona wine, go to http://arizonavigneronsalliance.org/
