Picture information

On May 23, more than 170 Prima Circle members attended the opening night celebration for Ballet Arizona’s performance of Topia. Back by popular demand, Ib Andersen’s production of Topia will be performed at Desert Botanical Garden through June 10. Prima Circle members came together to celebrate the end of the 2016-2017 Season in the Boppart Courtyard with al fresco cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees also heard from Ballet Arizona Executive Director, Samantha Turner, and Artistic Director, Ib Andresen. Mr. Andersen reflected on the season and noted that almost none of the current company dancers have performed in Topia since its last performance in 2013. Both leaders expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the donors and supporters in the audience, without whom, Ballet Arizona would not be able to perform and deliver the quality of performances that it does today. Prima Circle members support Ballet Arizona with an annual donation or $1,500 or more.
