No matter if you have a sweet tooth or not, Skittles hopes you will be a fan of his bright and colorful personality! The one-year-old domestic shorthair tabby has been in the care of the Arizona Humane Society since early May and is in need of a loving Foster Hero home to continue recovering from a kitty cold.

Skittles is just one of almost 3,600 pets who have received care in a foster home this year alone ranging from tiny orphaned kittens to larger pets with orthopedic issues and everything in between. Currently, the shelter has dozens of pets who are in need of a temporary respite while they continue on the road to recovery.

The sweet kitty was rescued by an Arizona Humane Society Emergency Animal Medical Technician when he was found as an ill stray. Upon examination in the shelter’s Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital, it was determined he needed attention for an upper respiratory infection which should clear in a few weeks with the proper medication.
