Thanks to a generous longtime Arizona Humane Society donor and Bottle Baby ICU volunteer, right now through Monday, May 18, all donations will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000! That means your gift will go twice as far to provide nourishment and lifesaving care to the shelter's most vulnerable residents in its Bottle Baby ICU.
This lifesaving match will make a huge difference for tiny lives like Hughie, an adorable 19-day old kitten who is receiving around-the-clock care at the Arizona Humane Society. The sweet orange tabby was brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan after he was found in a wall of their home.
The Arizona Humane Society's Bottle Baby ICU is a specialized medical area for underaged, orphaned kittens and puppies ranging from just a few days old to a few weeks. This 24-hour operation helps save the lives of the shelter's tiniest patients – kittens and puppies that are routinely euthanized in other shelters but given a second chance at life in Arizona's largest animal welfare organization thanks to the community’s support.
Already this year, AHS has cared for more than 1,000 of these tiny patients but cannot continue to do so without your help. Those interested in donating to help save lives are encouraged to visit azhumane.org/Match to get your lifesaving gift doubled today!
Those interested in helping underaged pets by becoming a Foster Hero can learn more and apply at azhumane.org/Foster. Additionally, if you find a litter of kittens – please, look but don’t touch as mom offers the best chance of survival! Learn more about what to do at azhumane.org/FoundKittens.
