One of thousands of pets who are rescued from cruelty each year by the Arizona Humane Society, adorable Chewy found his way to the shelter in January of this year after he was rescued from inhumane treatment. While it is not known what head trauma he underwent, the adorable four-year-old American Pitbull Terrier has a unique marking on his face as a reminder of his neglectful past.
While in the care of the Arizona Humane Society, Chewy was treated for fleas and dermatitis with medicated baths and quickly adopted once he was healed. Unfortunately, the kindhearted pup has found his way back to the organization after his adopters were no longer able to care for him.
Chewy is truly a sweet pup who walks great on a leash, loves the outdoors, enjoys squeaky toys and can never get enough car rides. The loving doggo not only enjoys human company but also gets along with other pups and will not hesitate to jump into the laps of people who around so he can get as many snuggles as possible!
Chewy's adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. Visit this handsome boy at the Arizona Humane Society's Papago Park Campus or learn more at azhumane.org/adopt to give him the loving forever home he deserves.
