Shy Shilah Looking for Special Home

Shilah is a special kitty who is in need of a special home! The gorgeous one-year-old Brown Tabby came to the Arizona Humane Society as an injured stray in July of this year resulting in her needing a hind leg amputation.

While undergoing treatment in the shelter's trauma hospital, it was also found that Shilah has FeLV which sometimes can go away on its own but it is recommended keeping her as an indoor only cat and ensuring she has regular vet checks. Shilah’s previous foster says she is a sweet, gentle, loving cat who enjoys being around her humans, is a purr machine and loves to play when she is not cuddled up in a warm lap.

All those who know her say Shilah is a great kitty cat who will make a wonderful companion for anyone willing to give her a chance. From her foster to volunteers who interact with her on a daily basis - everyone is absolutely in love with this striped beauty and looks forward to her finding her forever family soon.

Shilah's adoption fee includes her spay surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. Visit this gorgeous girl at the Arizona Humane Society's Papago Park Campus or learn more at azhumane.org/adopt to give her the loving forever home she deserves.
