Tripod Pup Trinity is a Fetch Expert!

With a smile as big as her loving heart, Trinity has had many reasons not to be so happy-go-lucky but continually shows her bright spirit. The gorgeous two-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier was transferred to the Arizona Humane Society from another shelter after she was found to have an injured back leg in July of this year.

Upon inspection in AHS’ Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital, x-rays revealed that her right hind leg was extremely fractured – most likely due to being hit by a vehicle. Trinity quickly underwent surgery to remove her painful, non-ambulating leg and has recovered extremely well in just a few short months.

While once painful for her, Trinity now is an incredible walk buddy, frolics in the yard playing fetch (her favorite pastime) and snuggles up to her humans when she is not getting her wiggles out. Those who know Trinity say she is an extremely cheerful pup who loves people and leans into petting. She also knows sit and is extremely treat motivated, making her a wonderful candidate to learn more tricks through training.

As a part of AHS’ ongoing Big Dog Adoption Special, triumphant Trinity has a $0 adoption fee. Trinity’s waived adoption fee includes her spay surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. Visit this sweet girl at AHS’ Papago Park Campus or learn more at azhumane.org/adopt to give her the loving forever home she deserves.
