With a smile almost as big as he is, Baker is an absolutely adorable eight-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer mix who is looking for a loving forever home. After the unfortunate passing of his previous owner, Baker found himself at the Arizona Humane Society, where he received compassionate care at the shelter’s trauma hospital for an ear infection.
Weighing in at nearly 90 pounds of pure love, this sweet pup is a gentle giant who adores cuddles and gets along with everyone. Because Baker weighs over 50 pounds, his adoption fee is waived to help him find the perfect family ready to share their home with a big-hearted senior dog.
Although AHS loves senior pets all year round, this month is extra special as it is Adopt a Senior Pet month! This special time raises awareness for pets who are often overlooked due to their age, however this shelter knows that older pets are just as wonderful and deserving of love as pets younger than they are.
Adopters interested in helping this certified good boy live out his golden years can meet beautiful Baker at AHS' Sunnyslope Campus location. Baker’s $0 adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital.
