@DbacksBaxter

D. Baxter the Bobcat has been with the Diamondbacks since 2000, when Chase Field was originally Bank One Ballpark. Brantley Bell, who is the son of former second baseman Jay Bell, thought a bobcat would make a fitting mascot—since they played in the BOB (Bank One Ballpark). The rest is history!

New this year is D. Baxter's very own blog.

Favorite person to follow? My favorite people to follow would have to be Barry Enright and Justin Upton. I mean, come on, they are D-Backs!

Why did you start Tweeting? I started tweeting so I could better connect with fans. Twitter allows fans to follow my adventures around the state of Arizona, including all of my charitable appearances, cool people I meet and the fun places I go.

What do you never Tweet about? I try to only tweet about things that are positive and fun.

What Tweet has generated the most response? Any time I do a giveaway or contest for my followers it always gets a lot of responses.

What is the strangest place you've Tweeted from? I like to tweet whenever I go places that are interesting. Last year, I tweeted from Estadio de Beisbol Hector Espino in Hermosillo, Mexico, during an exhibition game between the D-backs and Team Mexico.

How do you choose who you follow? I follow a lot of my fellow mascot buddies and D-backs fans all over the country.

iPhone or BlackBerry? Bobcats don't carry cell phones because we don't have pockets!
