It's convertible, wrinkle-free, and flattering for any shape and size...are you sold?  Check out the hot new dress you'll want to get your hands on.

It’s the hottest thing to happen to bridesmaids: Two Birds dresses.  Have you heard of them?  If you haven’t, you’ll definitely want to check out Bella Bridesmaids in Scottsdale, a specialty boutique with an array of fabulous dresses.

“We showcase 12-14 designers that offer every style, color, and fabric you can imagine,” said Kristin Cartwright, Bella Bridesmaid co-owner.

Yep, you read right, the youngest Cartwright runs a rather new bridal shop.  Kristin is the daughter of Bill Cartwright, the Suns Assistant Coach.  She’s the youngest of four—daddy’s only little girl.  That’s why she’s flaunting her feminine side, co-running the store with her mom.

“It’s a franchise.  We wanted to bring Bella to the Valley.”

And that they did in January of this year.

The mom-and-daughter-duo offer tons of dresses starting at $200.  As for what’s “in,” Kristin says it’s all about purple for fall and winter weddings, whether it be a rich tone or light violet.  She also says chiffon is the must-have-fabric for Arizona weddings—the flowly, elegant look blends right into our desert landscape.

“We’re also seeing a lot of people follow celebrity trends.”

Kristin is talking about celebs like Kim Kardashian choosing light-toned bridesmaid dresses.  As untraditional as it sounds, many brides are having their ladies wear ivory, crème, and off-white.

“It’s actually very crisp and clean.”

As for spring trends, Kristin is getting the scoop from New York.  This month she’s heading to NYC with her mama to Market—that’s where all the big designers show off their new stuff.

“We’re very excited and we’ll surely bring back the best for 2012 weddings.”

However, the newest trend we’re seeing is Two Birds dresses.  They are totally cool and super chic, available short, mid-length, and ball-gown.  The unique style is convertible; in fact, the wrap dresses can be worn 15 different ways!  And the best part of all…they are comfortable, flattering, and wrinkle-free.

“They start at $200, but easily exceed $350.”

But they are so well worth it.  Two Birds come in a variety of colors, but you’ll likely have to YouTube how to wear them.
