April 28 (Scottsdale, Ariz.)- Fierce models, fashionistas and single guys unite! Scottsdale Fashion Square's May 1 fashion event will kick off Arizona Foothills Magazine's Face of Foothills Casting Calls. From 1-3 in the East Rotunda near Barneys, the mall will feature delicious nibbles, giveaways, beauty bars and model mayhem!
Aside from having a photo taken and taking a turn the catwalk, models and their guests will enjoy:
- Fresh Beats from a DJ
- Free food from Kona Grill, Marcella's, Pita Jungle and Modern Steak
- A fashion presentation featuring clothing, swimwear and accessories from Socrati, Oakley, Fossil, True Religion, Betsey Johnson, Metropark, Kenneth Cole, Max Mara, Love Culture and Everything But Water
- Makeup touch-ups, hair and beauty tips at the Beauty Bars courtesy of LUSH, REGIS, Proactiv, Aveda store and Philosophy
- A chance to win a $100 gift card to Barneys New York

Arizona Foothills will hold 14 Casting Calls at Westcor's Arizona Shopping Centers in May, 2010 to help find the Valley's prettiest faces for the Face of Foothills Model Search. The winner will be featured on a cover and in a six-page spread in Arizona Foothills Magazine, their face will appear on the homepage of AZFoothills.com for one year and they’ll receive more than $10,000 in cash and prizes!
Arizona Foothills Magazine will choose a model from the pool of Fashion Square's entrants, who will bypass voting rounds of the Face of Foothills contest and become a finalist. The magazine will meet all entrants and accept all photos and applications before choosing a finalist, who will be announced at the end of the Casting Call. All other entries will be submitted to the Face of Foothills pool of entries and are still in the running to win the title. For full rules and regulations, click here.
The Casting Calls will be opportunities for models to meet representatives from the magazine, fill out entry forms and submit headshots to the contest, or have a headshot taken by a professional photographer. All ages, heights, sexes and sizes are permitted. Minors will need a parent or guardian present.
