MIMkids Mini Music Makers

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of music through the Musical Instrument Museum’s early childhood music and movement courses from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. (there are three different classes determined by age). Each class is structured around developmentally appropriate activities for the children to interact with and create their own music; thus, little ones develop musical and social skills and foster physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. Reservations are required; first come, first served. Due to space limitations, only one child and one adult per ticket will be allowed to participate. $12 per class.

Get Unbaked in Old Town

Unbaked, an edible cookie dough eatery, is now open in Old Town. The too-cute shop, brimming with fun “dough” puns and bright signs, specializes in safe-to-eat cookie dough in flavors like peanut butter, cake batter, chocolate chip, cookies and cream and much more. Get it in a cup, a homemade waffle cone or between two (baked) cookies. Also, don’t miss out on Unbaked’s incredible from-scratch ice cream flavors, with strawberry short cake being a favorite.
