Summer of Sharks at OdySea Aquarium

With more than 40 visitors of nine different species living in the Aquarium, guests are invited to marvel at the largest and most diverse collection of sharks in Arizona. To celebrate “Shark Week” and the magnificent and the mysterious creature, OdySea Aquarium will be offering a variety of special programs, activities and educational opportunities for guests that are free with admission from July 1 to July 31. Ice Cream Day 5K Virtual Race at Phoenix Public Library

You scream. I scream. We all scream for ice cream! With National Ice Cream Day approaching the Phoenix Public Library is hosting a virtual race, where you can choose to run a 5K to honor this special day. Along with celebrating ice cream, at least 15 percent of every registration will be donated to Operation Smile, an organization which “believes every child suffering from cleft lip or cleft palate deserves exceptional surgical care,” as July is National Cleft Awareness month. Refik Anadol: Infinity Room at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

Get wavy this weekend at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art with this immersive installation by Turkish-born, Los Angeles-based artist Refik Anadol. This exhibit will be featured daily from May 26 to Sept. 30. Tween/Teen Night Every Friday & Saturday at AZ Air Time in Scottsdale

From 8 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, all tweens and teens, ages 12 and up, are invited to AZ Air Time trampoline park to enjoy exciting dodgeball tournaments, dancing contests, and jumping on the indoor trampolines and into foam pits. This supervised nighttime play is perfect for parents who are looking for a safe, indoor place for their older kids to spend time on the weekend evenings. Cost is $15 for three hours.
